The London Assembly Economy Committee is currently conducting an investigation into the changing nature of London’s labour markets since 2008. The focus is on changes to the size and structure of the labour market, in particular employment, earnings and labour market productivity. To inform this picture, the Economy Committee is looking for evidence of increasing flexibility, availability of ‘quality’ jobs, progression and promotion opportunities, instability and uncertainty of working hours, in-work poverty, and gender inequality amongst others. More information can be found here.
As a part of the investigation, the Economy Committee is seeking the views of those Londoners who might have been affected by the changes. You or the people you work with can fill out this short survey to feed into the investigation.
